Description
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Stamford Hospital is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN for a new hybrid role combining outpatient leadership and hospitalist duties. Both the Directorship and hospitalist roles may be considered separately, 0.5FTE for each.
Optimus Clinic Director- lead OB/GYN residents 2 days/week and ½ day for administrative duties. The outpatient clinic sessions will be both obstetrics and gynecology. Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the OB-GYN resident outpatient clinic in downtown Stamford. Unique opportunity to shape the clinical, educational, and programmatic direction of our resident-based outpatient practice. Supervise and mentor residents in patient care,
Hospitalist role – Two 12-hour daytime shifts per week. One 12-hour shift covering gynecology that comes in through the Emergency Department and One 12-hour shift covering OB.
